Merry Christmas Eve!

So I decided to join this awesome group for fashion bloggers! So every Friday is answer questions day! Yahoo! First of all I would like to say Merry Christmas Eve to everyone, and to all of our followers thank you so much for following..We really appreciate it!!
Ok, so the group is FBFF and if you want to learn more about it go to Katy’s blog here. Also, if you would like to join-- just add yourself to the Google Groups on her site. It’s super easy!
Anyway, here are the questions for the day

1. Your favorite holiday memory: My favorite memory is Christmas Eve when we would go our family friends house, eat Christmas dinner and rice pudding (yum), drive home and see a red light in the sky (we thought it was Rudolph every time), and then come home and put out cheese and beer for Santa. We loved our tradition of cheese and beer. More recently one of my favorite traditions is cross country skiing into a yurt in McCall and having an amazing meal and then skiing back out. That’s a blast!

2. Were you ever a victim of those family Christmas party photo shoots? No! I haven’t ever had that experience, but we didn’t have a Christmas card this year because it is always chaos and my sister isn’t here for it. We miss you Emily! Here she is in France if you want to see her blog here.
3. Best Christmas gift you ever gave: Well, it might have to be this year because I’m giving my dad a Shakeweight. Shhhh…don’t tell! I think he will have a laugh though…

4. Craziest/funniest holiday family tradition: As kids my family used to do a progressive dinner with a whole bunch of different families. That alone was hilarious and Crazy!! We would go to a bajillion different houses to have a meal at each, then at the last house we did a white elephant. I was younger so I played with all of the kids and boy was that a blast! Currently, white elephant gift exchanges top my list.

5. Favorite type of Christmas cookie: I love love love turtles and all the chocolate boxes my dad brings home from work. But, my favorite is definitely home made caramels. Those are the best!
Now for my outfit..I wore this yesterday. Oh, and check out the blazer I got at a thrift store!
