i have the blues… +FBFF

I had a super duper hard time picking out my outfit today! Maybe its because I have about 3 colors in my closet. Today I chose blue. Happy Frrrrrrridaayyyyyy!!!!!
So, I am at a blank for words today, but luckily it is Friend Friday! Yippee. Soooo, here it goes…
1. With all the blogging events out there how do you determine which ones to participate in and which ones to avoid?
There seriously are about a bajillion different blogger events to participate in, groups to join, and activites to do..such as Friend Friday (which I am doing now). Logan and I usually choose what events to join based on what sites are informative and give us inspiration. Some of my favorite sites we have joined are Weardrobe, Everybody Everywear, & Independent Fashion Bloggers. All of these have really promoted our blog as well as given us awesome inspiration from other amazing bloggers. Also, we have joined {crazy cool} events such as 30 for 30 put on by Kendi, Fashion Friday put on by Katy, and I’m sure we will join many more in the future!

2.  Be honest, have you ever jumped on the bandwagon of some blogging movement/event for the wrong reasons? How did that turn out?
This is only our 3rd month of blogging so we haven’t really run into anything like this. It may happen though…hope not! Also, for the record I am going to do 30 for 30 til the end!! :)

3. How do you give your own flair to a blog event while still maintaining the general mission and purpose?
I definitely try to stick to my own style and not try to create something that isn’t me. However, I am slowly learning my “style” and will probably still continue to grasp what it truly is for a long time. I think it is also important to experiment with things you wouldn’t normally put together. I have noticed this in my 30 for 30 challenge. I sit and stare at my closet and basically have to choose things I wouldn’t normally choose,but its so fun to be creative.
 4. When determining the best content for your blog what criterion do you keep in mind?
Logan and I post things that are inspriational and fun for both of us. After all we are blogging for fun! So, we don’t really have a criterion it is just whatever comes to our minds at the time!
5. While everything will not suit your blog, how do you try and support your fellow bloggers who are participating in something worthwhile but not your style?
That is what is so freakin’ cool about blogging! Everyone has their own style. I love looking at people who are participating in different events. Many times it gives me inspiration and even tips on something I could try in the future. Also, it keeps things interesting which is always a good thing!
